Explorer Masterclass

The Explorer Masterclass is designed for ambitious divers ready to take control of every aspect of their diving journey. It's for recreational divers who want to go far beyond the basics—mastering buoyancy, trim, propulsion, emergency response, and the use of multiple configurations: doubles, sidemount, and DPVs. It’s also built for aspiring professionals looking to lead teams, assist instructors, and gain real-world leadership experience.

Upon completing the Masterclass, you’ll earn up to 9 internationally recognized SSI certifications:

• XR Foundations (In Doubles of Sidemount Configurations)
• Recreational Sidemount
• Enriched Air Nitrox
• Technical DPV
• Deep Diver
• Navigation Diver
• Night & Limited Visibility
• React Right (First Aid, CPR, O2, AED)
• Stress & Rescue
• Divemaster (if qualified and assisting in actual courses)
  
  These certifications are globally accepted and will qualify you to dive in a wide range of environments and depths—up to 40 meters—with advanced configurations and safety protocols.

You should be at least 18 years old, in good health, and comfortable in the water. We recommend having at least 24 logged dives before enrolling, including experience in different environments. All training is conducted in DIR (Doing It Right) configuration using premium gear—no shortcuts or rental-quality setups. You’ll train with backplate and wing systems, long hose regulators, high-performance lights, redundant gas planning, and DPV and sidemount configurations. This gives you real experience managing advanced gear setups in both recreational and technical scenarios. You’ll also gain familiarity with equipment standardization and team protocols that are used by the most elite diving communities worldwide.

The Masterclass includes over 75 dives, extensive workshops, and both digital and in-person academic training. While the total guided training duration is approximately 32 full training days, it is designed to be completed with flexibility over 2 to 3 months, allowing time for practice, study, and deeper skill development. This pacing ensures true mastery—not just certification.

You don’t need to be a professional diver to train like one. In fact, many of our most successful Masterclass graduates never pursue leadership roles—they simply want to be the most capable divers they can be. We’re the only dive school in Kuwait teaching exclusively in DIR.
