Accidents can happen anywhere—whether you're on the surface, underwater, or back at home. The SSI React Right Course prepares you to be the person who steps up calmly and competently when it matters most.
At XR Explorers, our commitment to excellence extends beyond the water. We don’t just teach you how to tick boxes; we build the calm confidence needed to make life-saving decisions. This comprehensive emergency training program covers Primary Assessment, First Aid, CPR, and Oxygen Administration.
What You Will Learn
This is a "Dry Course" (classroom-based) that focuses heavily on practical, hands-on application using medical manikins and emergency equipment.
- Primary Care (CPR): How to handle life-threatening emergencies (cardiac arrest, non-breathing) for both divers and non-divers.
- Secondary Care (First Aid): Bandaging, splinting, and assessing illness or injury.
- Oxygen Administration: Learning to safely assemble and administer pure oxygen—the absolute standard of care for diving accidents.
- AED Use: How to safely deploy an Automated External Defibrillator.

- Rescue Prerequisite: This certification is strictly mandatory if you plan to take the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue or professional Dive Guide courses.
- For Everyone: You don’t have to be a scuba diver to take this. Parents, teachers, and corporate teams take this course to be prepared for daily life emergencies.

Where We Train
Courses run in Kuwait, with pool sessions at Sea Club Salmiya and boat dives at Kuwait's islands. For groups of 2 or more, our instructors can travel to teach in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in the GCC. Flights and accommodation are added to the course price.
