The SSI Open Water Diver Course is the most popular and internationally recognized entry-level scuba diving certification in the world. Earning this license gives you the freedom to dive independently with a buddy to depths of 18 meters (60 feet) anywhere on the planet.

Open Water Course Structure

Over 4-5 days, our expert instructors will guide you through a comprehensive curriculum:

  1. Knowledge Development: 6 self-paced digital modules via the SSI App, combined with instructor-led reviews to master scuba theory, physics, and equipment preparation.
  2. Confined Water Training: 8 immersive sessions in a pool or sheltered bay to master buoyancy, trim, propulsion techniques (like frog kicking), and emergency procedures.
  3. Open Water Dives: 4 ocean dives where you apply your new skills in the real world using Nitrox 32%, exploring marine life while demonstrating mastery.

Regional Scuba Training (GCC-Wide)
