In rebreather diving, redundancy is everything. The Quick Disconnect Adapter (BC Male to 9/16" Female) is a specialized fitting designed to bridge the gap between your bailout tanks and your rebreather's breathing loop.

How It Works Most Manual Addition Valves (MAVs) on rebreathers use a standard 9/16" connection. By installing this adapter, you convert that fixed connection into a Standard BC Male Nipple.

• The Result: You can now take a standard BC/Inflator hose from any offboard bailout cylinder and "plug it in" directly to your MAV. This allows you to manually inject offboard gas into the loop, significantly extending your survival time if your onboard diluent or oxygen runs out.
