You are already certified, but do you feel truly in control? Many divers finish their initial training feeling that they need more time to work on buoyancy, trim, and positioning. If you feel like you are struggling to stay off the bottom, or that your diving is "messy," the GUE Performance Diver course is the solution.

This is the newest gateway into the GUE system. It allows certified divers from other agencies (PADI, SSI, etc.) to experience the GUE difference—standardized equipment, team protocols, and precision skills—without committing to a longer program immediately.

We are the only facility in Kuwait and the majority of the GCC authorized to teach this program. This course is designed to maximize your water time. By utilizing GUE’s adaptive online learning for the theory, we spend our time together where it counts: underwater, refining your technique.

What You Will Master This course builds a solid diving platform based on Balance, Trim, and Propulsion.

• The Platform: Learn to hover motionless in horizontal trim. Stop crashing into the bottom or floating away.

• Propulsion: We teach you the tools for delicate environments, including the Frog Kick and the essential Backward Kick (reversing without using your hands).

• Nitrox: The theory and use of Nitrox is included, extending your bottom time and safety margins.

Who Is This For?

• Divers who want to improve their skills but aren't ready for the full 4-day GUE Fundamentals.

• Divers curious about the "GUE Style" of diving (Hogarthian gear, long hose, team diving).

• Divers preparing for advanced filming or survey work who need absolute stability.

Prerequisites (Strictly Enforced)

• Certification: Must hold an autonomous entry-level certification (Open Water or equivalent).

• Swim Test: Swim 300 yards (275m) in under 14 minutes & swim 50 ft (15m) underwater on a breath hold.

• Age: Minimum 12 Years.

• Health: Physically and mentally fit. Must be a Non-Smoker.

• Note: If using Doubles or Drysuit, specific experience/primers are required (10 dives minimum).

Course Details

• Duration: 2 Days (Minimum 16 hours instruction)

• Dives: Minimum 4 Dives

• Depth Limit: 18 meters (60 feet)

• Ratio: Maximum 3 Students per Instructor

• Configuration: GUE Single or Double Tank System
