Maximize Your Dive Time.

The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) course is widely considered the most important specialty a diver can take. It is designed to extend your bottom time, shorten your surface intervals, and significantly reduce post-dive fatigue.

By learning to breathe enriched air with oxygen levels up to 40%, you absorb less nitrogen during your dive. This allows you to stay underwater longer—especially at depths between 15 and 30 meters—and get back in the water sooner for your next adventure.

Why Take This Course? At XR Explorers, we strongly recommend combining this course with your Open Water Diver training. It is essential for:

  • Repetitive Dives: Perfect for liveaboards or dive holidays where you do 3-4 dives a day.

  • Photography: Gives you more time to get the perfect shot.

  • Safety: Increases your safety margins by reducing nitrogen loading.

What You Will Learn This is a "Dry Course"—meaning there are no required open water dives. You can complete the certification in a classroom setting in just half a day.

  • Physiology: Understanding the benefits and risks of higher oxygen concentrations.

  • Gas Analysis: Hands-on practice analyzing nitrox cylinders using an oxygen analyzer.

  • Dive Planning: How to calculate Maximum Operating Depth (MOD) and manage oxygen exposure.

Regional Training (GCC-Wide) Because this course requires no in-water training, it is incredibly flexible. We conduct Nitrox workshops regularly at our facility in Kuwait & UAE, but we can also arrange sessions for groups in KSA, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.
