GUE Doubles Primer

• Duration: 1 Day (Over 8 hours of in-depth training)
• Dives: Minimum 2 long dives encompassing in-water work
• Depth Limit: 18 meters (60 feet)
• Class Size: Can be taught to just 1 student (Maximum 3)
• Configuration: GUE Double Tank System (Twinset)
• Gas Protocol: Nitrox 32% theory, use, and certification are included

Prerequisites are strictly enforced by GUE to ensure your success and safety.

• GUE Registration: A $75 registration fee must be paid directly to GUE prior to the course.
• Age & Health: Minimum 16 years old. Must be physically and mentally fit, and must be a non-smoker. A physician’s clearance is required if on prescription meds (excluding birth control) or with any condition that poses a risk during diving.
• Swim Test: Must be able to swim comfortably and competently.
• Certification: Must hold an autonomous scuba diver certification (Open Water or equivalent) from a recognized training agency.

❌ Exclusions (Please Read Carefully):

• GUE Registration Fee: A $45 fee must be paid directly to the GUE website upon course registration to cover your official materials and certification processing.
• Equipment NOT Included: Gear rentals (such as backplates, wings, and regulators) are not included. Divers must bring or rent their own GUE-compliant equipment configuration at an additional charge.
