Clarity at Depth.
One of the most neglected risks in scuba diving is hypercapnia (the excessive production and accumulation of CO2) that can rapidly lead to narcosis and severe discomfort, especially when diving deeper or in strenuous conditions. These factors cloud your judgment, increase anxiety, and critically limit your ability to solve problems at depth.
The GUE Deep Primer (also known as the Triox Primer) challenges the old-school mentality that "Helium is only for tech divers." By introducing Helium-based breathing mixes like Triox 30/30, we allow you to explore recreational depths up to 30 meters (100 ft) safely, comfortably, and with crystal-clear mental capacity.
The XR Explorers Exclusive
We are the only facility in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain authorized to teach this program. This course is essential for divers ambitious for project diving or those who simply want to make their deep recreational dives drastically safer and more comfortable. It is also an exceptional way to prepare for deeper dive training (like GUE Tech 1 or Cave 1) by introducing and practicing rigid ascent protocols.
What You Will Learn
-
Triox Theory: Understanding exactly how the addition of Helium minimizes narcosis, reduces gas density (making breathing easier at depth), and manages post-dive "nitrogen stress."
-
Ascent Protocols: Mastering the GUE "Minimum Decompression" ascent strategy. You will practice executing variable ascent rates, deep stops, and precise depth control using a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB).
-
Stable Platform: Maintaining absolute precision in buoyancy and horizontal trim while managing the inherent stress of deeper depths.
GUE Training Consultation
GUE training is a serious commitment. We strongly recommend a consultation to discuss your goals, readiness, and gas strategies for this level of training. Whether you are in Kuwait, KSA, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, or Oman, our GUE instructors are available to guide you.
