Some of the most breathtaking dive sites lie beyond the usual recreational depths. The SSI Deep Diver Course gives you the skills and confidence to safely explore depths of up to 40 meters (130 feet), allowing you to access untouched wrecks, stunning drop-offs, and deep reefs that are impossible to reach with a standard certification.

The XR Explorers Approach: DIR & Discipline

At XR Explorers, we go beyond just getting you to depth—we ensure you do it safely. Deep diving requires discipline. We train you utilizing our standard DIR (Doing It Right) equipment configuration to ensure you are streamlined and efficient. To give you maximum safety margins and mental clarity at depth, your training dives will be conducted using Nitrox at no additional charge, and all boat fees and equipment rentals are fully covered.

• Gas Management: Calculating exactly how much gas you need to reach the bottom and return safely with a strict reserve.
• Physiology: Understanding and managing Nitrogen Narcosis ("the rapture of the deep").
• Redundancy: Planning for contingencies so that a problem at 40m doesn't become an emergency.

What You Will Learn

Throughout this 2-day course, you will execute 4 Deep Dives under the close supervision of our expert instructors.

• Ascent Procedures: Mastering controlled ascents, precise buoyancy, and mandatory safety stops.
• Team Communication: Maintaining high situational awareness when bottom time is limited.
