When you are hundreds of meters inside a cave or deep inside a wreck, a jammed reel is not an annoyance—it’s a safety threat. The Halcyon Pathfinder™ Primary Reel is engineered to eliminate that risk.

Unlike plastic reels that flex and create gaps, the Pathfinder features a handle machined from Hard-Coat Aluminum and a spool machined from solid Delrin. The fit between these two components is so precise that it is virtually impossible for the line to slip behind the spool and cause a jam. This reliability has made the Pathfinder the most trusted primary reel in the exploration community.

Choose Your Size (Select Option Above)

• 400 ft (122 m): The standard "Primary" reel size. Compact enough to carry comfortably on your hip D-ring but holds enough line for significant penetration.

• 800 ft (244 m): The "Exploration" size. Designed for deep push dives or laying long permanent lines. Note: This reel has a larger profile.
