The Halcyon Defender Pro™ Reel is the ultimate tool for guideline management in both recreational and technical diving environments. Engineered for incredibly smooth deployment and retrieval, it provides a compact, dependable, and highly adaptable solution for everything from shooting surface markers to running complex cave circuits.

Modular Versatility: Two Tools in One

With high-precision machining and modular versatility, the Defender Pro stands out by being easily convertible between a Pathfinder™ style and a Defender™ style guideline device.

Pathfinder™ Style: Provides a small form factor with full handle functionality. It allows easy operation alongside a Halcyon Goodman light handle and features a specially shaped grip that provides a no-slip fit for mounting a Halcyon Scout reserve light.
Defender Pro™ Style: The conversion provides unsurpassed portability. The solid center reduces the overall spool size, enhancing portability, eliminating the risk of catching a finger, and allowing for a comfortable grip with self-centering operation.

One-Handed Lock-Down Operation

The Defender Pro's innovative design includes a unique spring-loaded lock-down pin. This highly tactile feature prevents accidental unspooling while offering effortless one-handed operation, allowing you to seamlessly transition between a free-spin mode for laying line and a fully locked position to secure your tie-offs.
