GUE Navigation Primer

• Duration: 2 Days (Minimum 16 hours of instruction encompassing classroom, land drills, and in-water work)
• Dives: Minimum 4 Dives (Including 1 dive in reduced ambient light / night conditions)
• Depth Limit: 18 meters (60 feet)
• Class Size: Minimum 2 students to conduct the class and Maximum 3 Students
• Equipment: GUE equipment configurations are included for this course

Prerequisites are strictly enforced by GUE to ensure your success and safety.

• GUE Registration: A $45 registration fee must be paid directly to GUE prior to the course.
• Certification: Must hold a GUE Open Water Diver, GUE Performance Diver, or GUE Fundamentals certification.
• Experience: Must have completed at least 15 non-training dives after your GUE certification.
• Age & Health: Minimum 16 years old. Must be physically and mentally fit, and must be a non-smoker. A physician’s clearance is required if on prescription meds (excluding birth control) or with any condition that poses a risk during diving.
• Swim Test: Must be able to swim comfortably.
• Drysuit Experience (If Applicable): If using a drysuit during the course, you must have conducted at least 15 non-training dives in a drysuit OR 10 non-training dives utilizing a drysuit following completion of the GUE Drysuit Primer.
