Narcosis is a potential effect of diving deeper due to increased nitrogen exposure. We teach you to recognize and safely manage these effects through thorough dive planning, experience at depth, and proper gas choices like enriched air nitrox.

At XR Explorers, we use and teach in premium DIR configurations, including backmount twinset or sidemount setups. You'll also learn to safely manage stage cylinders for redundancy and emergency gas supplies. All specialized DIR equipment can be provided during your training.

The SSI Deep Diver Course covers fundamental decompression theory and emergency protocols. However, planned staged decompression diving is taught in our Extended Range Nitrox and Trimix courses.

Yes, we highly recommend using enriched air nitrox during training to extend bottom times, reduce nitrogen loading, and improve safety margins at depth.

Private One-on-One Class:
This is the most personalized experience you can have.
