Get Certified to Dive with the SSI Scuba Diver Course

The SSI Scuba Diver Course is your entry into the world of scuba diving. Whether you’re short on time or want a gradual approach to your certification, this course teaches you the essential skills and knowledge you need to dive safely—up to 12 meters (40 feet) under the direct supervision of a dive professional.

At XR Explorers, we don’t just certify divers—we train them to dive the right way from the start. That’s why our Scuba Diver Course is taught exclusively in DIR configuration with premium equipment, ensuring maximum comfort, control, and safety. Our instructors take the time to give you personalized training that goes beyond the basics and trainings from other dive schools.

Over two to three days, you’ll complete:

  • Knowledge development (online or in-person theory)
  • Confined water sessions, where you’ll learn foundational skills
  • Two open water dives, where you’ll apply your skills in real diving conditions

Upon completion, you’ll earn the SSI Scuba Diver certification, which is your first step toward becoming a fully certified Open Water Diver. You can upgrade at any time—your training and dives count towards the full certification.
